Jack's Trip to South Dakota

Jack with his dad in South Dakota. Jack spent two weeks at Ducks Unlimited Goebel Ranch while his dad worked.

A closer picture of Jack with his dad in South Dakota. The pastures behind them are filled with cattle. Jack and mom tried counting the number of cows in the fields but stopped after three black cows. It is estimated that there are about 1,000 cows on the Ranch.

A severe thunderstorm rolled through one evening on the Ranch. There was some wind, rain, and larger hail, but no damage. A couple of farms were completely destroyed by a tornado a few miles west of the Ranch. After the storm, a full rainbow could be seen in a nearby pasture.

Jack and Grandma B. nap after a morning of duck banding. Grandpa and Grandma B. came out to South Dakota for a visit. All of the fresh air made everyone sleepy.
