Every year we put up our Christmas tree and decorations the day after Thanksgiving. It is getting harder to wait until the Big Friday to dig out the decorations...we started listening to Christmas music in October!
Jack was a huge help in putting on the ornaments this year. He did most (of the unbreakables) by himself. 
We had to pry Lexi from Grandma N.'s lap to get her to put on an ornament! She was having too much fun reading books! 
And sometimes the decorations got a hold of Jack. 
Later, that night, we braved the cold to watch the annual Holiday Lights Parade in town. Businesses decorate fire trucks and floats with as many holiday lights and other decor and then throw candy at us...lots and lots of candy.
