Happy 3rd Birthday to our Little Lexi! Unfortunately, this is the only picture that *I* have (the grandmas have more, thank goodness). Lexi came down with a staph infection and was feeling too miserable to open presents, eat cake, or do any celebrating. She was currently on two antibiotics.
Fast forward two days, aka Friday morning. Lexi went back to see the pediatrician because her "rash" continued to spread despite the medications she was taking. The doctor immediately admitted her to the hospital and placed her on intravneous antibiotics. She was then diagnosed with "Scalded Skin Syndrome" caused by a staph infection. NO FUN AT ALL!
