I have dubbed Sam and Gauge the following: Cheech and Chong, Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum, Frick and Frack. It is (seriously) like chasing twin toddlers around. Whatever Sam is up to/into, the dog is soon to follow or vice versa. Some days are so nerve-wrecking that I can only laugh, but these two hoodlums have turned into best buds. Sam likes to give Gauge random hugs and poke pet her while she is sleeping. Gauge feels the need to sleep next to Sam in the recliner or lick his hands while he naps. I think that part of this relationship may have blossomed when Gauge figured out that Sam's highchair often contains scrumptious treats at mealtimes.
