For the longest time, I have placed orange slices on Sam's lunch or dinner plate and he had never touched them, licked them, or tried tasting them. The juicy fruit usually ended up outside for a deer snack after mealtime...until last night.
First, Sam stabbed the orange with his fork. Frankly, I'm surprised that he hadn't done this any time sooner. Then he tried biting the peel of the orange. I flipped hit fruit for him and the little man decided that this was a pretty tasty treat!

Sam also learned that, if you squeeze the orange really really hard, juice will squirt all over (including in your eye, the not-so-fun part)!
Yeah, it was AWESOME!
