Well, what has the Boonstra Bunch been up to lately? Lots of playing in the snow, lots of playing in the house, and (of course), some ice fishing.
The weather has been pretty cooperative recently, reaching the winter's balmy 20 and 30 degrees. The snow falls a few inches at a time (well, minus the Gandolf day), enough to make some fresh tracks and hitch a ride in the plow truck.
On the days that the weather station reads 20 below, we pop some popcorn in the microwave, enjoy extra bubbles in the tub, and snuggle in with some firetruck books.
Todd and Jack continue to brave all weather to get a day of fishing in every weekend. It doesn't matter if Todd has to put chains on the truck, if the wheels freeze to the ground, or they need to plow through drifts, they will make it to their favorite hole in the ice.
