Gizmo Comes for a Visit

Jack's class has a new "pet."  His name is Gizmo.  Each second grader gets to take Gizmo home for a few days.  They then have to write about activities they did with Gizmo in a special journal that travels with him.  Everyone is REQUIRED to read him a book. 

Jack was the second student to get Gizmo (alphabetically, I'm presuming).  Jack and Gizmo did homework, ate rotini, rode on the dog (Gizmo, not Jack), read an Arthur book, and Jack tucked him into bed.  Jack was sad when Gizmo had to go back to school with him.  :(
