I think that this was Jack's favorite part of the fair. The FFA had a very cool petting zoo in one of the buildings. Jack knew what each animal was, tried to pet (or poke) each one, and would make the sound of the animal. I think that he was excited to see real animals that his books show.
There were big cows...
And little cows.
Jack saw ponies...and a huge draft horse that was "7 hands high."
And lots of pigs. 
I think this was the cutest pig of all!
